Volunteer to transport books to  Access Books Bay Area’s school library revitalization project at Franklin Elementary. You will load boxes of books into your own vehicle, drive them to the location, and unload them. You need to have a large vehicle such as an SUV or minivan. Volunteers should also be able to lift 30lbs. Details of location will be provided once you sign up. All volunteers must show proof of full vaccination.

By volunteering in this way, you will be improving access to brand-new, high-interest books for hundreds of students at an underserved school. Project volunteers (including transportation volunteers) will make a direct positive impact on the students of Franklin Elementary, a school where 83% of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and the school doesn’t have a budget for new books.
