One-time Volunteer Opportunities

The following opportunities are great ways for you to get involved in-person. Check back with us regularly, as we will post more as soon as they are scheduled.

If you have a skill you would like to share, we are always looking for volunteers to help with marketing, grant writing, event planning, fundraising, library collection building etc. Please reach out to us via books@accessbooksbayarea.org.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities allow you to have a large impact. Some are flexible and offer you the opportunity to contribute to our cause on your own time, in your own way. Others allow you to become a part of our team and contribute based on your interests and skills.

    Access Books Bay Area seeks ongoing volunteers for our mural painting team. We lead three projects per year to refurbish libraries at local underfunded schools. This includes painting custom murals, which refresh the space and make it more fun and inspiring for the children.
