Robert Coles, BFA, MS
Robert is an award-winning senior creative and digital director, brand manager and artist. He brought his creative efforts to Stanford University in 2018 where he oversees brand management for dozens of brands and identities.
Robert has served in various roles throughout his career, including as director of creative services & brand management for Franklin University and as director of creative services & enrollment marketing at Columbus College of Art & Design, both in Columbus, OH. As a freelancer, he has served such clients as the Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) and Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL). Additionally, he is a published BIPOC children’s book illustrator and has illustrated a total of five books. Robert is very active in diversity and inclusion activities at Stanford where he serves as a member of the IDEAL Staff Advisory Committee. The committee guides strategic direction and proposes programs and initiatives to further D&I at Stanford.
