Access Books Bay Area is pleased to be partnering with the wonderful science education nonprofit organization Environmental Volunteers for our COVID-19 pandemic response program! Environmental Volunteers is supporting our book distribution work through use of their facility in the Baylands area of East Palo Alto to sort and bundle books, as well as providing amazing volunteers, who came together for the first time with Access Books Bay Area staff on Monday for our first book sorting. They have also identified three more possible book distribution sites, as well as securing funding for one to two of the three already. We are very excited to work with this fabulous organization!
