Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latino history and culture. Since 1968, each year, from September 15 to October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by acknowledging the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean!
These communities each have their own unique and rich cultural identities, so we chose five books that highlight different Hispanic and Latino stories to help educate young readers.
Access Books Bay Area is committed to providing readers with books which feature diverse voices so all children feel included and represented. Below are five books for varying ages about stories tied to Hispanic and Latino Heritage.
