Happy New Year to our friends and supporters from Access Books Bay Area! Thank you so much to everyone who supported our work in 2024. Every dollar, and every book, counts when you are an organization as small as we are, and so it was amazing to see all of the contributions, both in book drives and in dollars, that you all contributed over the last year.

This Giving Tuesday we are reflecting on the incredible impact we’ve made together thanks to generous supporters like you! With your help, we can continue to provide vibrant libraries and inclusive books to underserved schools and vulnerable communities. 

We’ve done it again! Students at Hoover Community School now have a newly refurbished library with an additional 1,290 brand-new, diverse, culturally relevant books in both English and Spanish, and 3 delightful murals. This refurbishment marks our 19th project to date!

We are blazing through 2024 with yet another school library refurbishment under our belt, mere months after completing our first one of the year. The Stonegate Elementary school library refurbishment marks our 18th project since we started out in 2016, dreaming of bridging the literacy gap in our corner of the world.

What a great year! Access Books Bay Area, along with our awesome volunteers and donors, has made a difference in the lives of Bay Area children living in underserved communities.
